My Background
I am a business graduate and have worked for nearly two decades in multinational organisations across Asia, Africa, Europe, and now North America. My job involves working with people as their HR business partner, helping them on their path to success. I am also a certified life coach and have assisted many people in identifying what is important in their lives and defining pathways to achieve their goals.
My journey with Karate spans over three decades. I have practiced Karate in many different dojos and experienced coaching Karate for years specially to kids and young adults. I hold Black Belt 2nd Dan (Ni-Dan) in Shito Ryu and 4th Dan (Yon-dan) in Shotokan, certified coach and a Karate referee.
I am grateful to have learned from exceptional Senseis throughout my journey, who have profoundly shaped my understanding of the art. I am especially thankful to Senseis Ehsan Shams, Fariborz Zabihi, Rodrigo Souza, Mohammad Bahrami, and Ehsan Malaki for their invaluable guidance and mentorship.

From a young age, I learned that no success comes without hard work and sacrifice. Failures are learning opportunities, the stronger should be more humble, and we complement each other in a community. My life has been eventful. As an immigrant from Iran (my homeland), I faced numerous challenges: fleeing my country during the war, being separated from my brother, multiple failed family emigrations, and many emotional ups and downs. Through it all, one thing remained constant: being a martial artist. I was resilient and confident that I could overcome life's challenges through discipline, focus, hard work, and love for others.
Dojo, white thick uniform, mats, punch, kick, defend, empty hand, breath, focus, discipline, compete, friendship, and family.
These simple words hold a world of meaning for me. I started Karate at the age of six, following the lead of my father, Mansour, my older brother, Bardia, and my cousin, Farbod.
I didn’t know much about Karate then, except that it was a cool sport which can make you a strong fighter. Seeing all the elders in my family interested in it made me confident it was the right path. The start was difficult; it was a demanding and competitive sport. Yet, something strongly connected me to it. Soon, the Karate dojo (place of practice) became my favorite place to be. Place to learn and experience respect, trust, competition, friendship, perseverance and fun.
Our Story
Now, looking back, I see that Karate has been a fundamental part of my life. It influenced how I planned my life, set targets, and achieved them despite all the challenges. I lost my father in 2023, a man who practised Karate until his last few months while fighting terminal cancer. When he passed, I knew my life had a bigger purpose: to help as many people as I can to train and incorporate Karate into their lives
SEN-NO-SEN Martial Arts is our family dojo. My wife, Sogol is helping us to organize and keep the dojo running. My both boys Rastin and Radman are learning Karate and sometimes help us in classes. We are all doing our best to ensure that SEN-NO-SEN Martial Arts is school of developing manners and strengths.
